The mission of the Penn State African-American Alumni Organization is to assist the University in the recruitment and retention of African-American students, faculty and staff; to encourage and support educational opportunities for African-American students; to assist the provision of financial support to African-American students; to provide means by which African-American alumni may be involved in the affairs of the University; and to foster a sense of pride in and a commitment to the University while enhancing its reputation and prestige.
We are the flagship organization for Penn State Black alumni and friends to connect to the University, one another and the Black community in their respective metropolitan areas.
