Kourtney Pulliam '10

PRESIDENT

While at Penn State Kourtney had the opportunity to develop herself as a leader being apart of THON, MLK Day of Service, SMART, and most importantly NAACP (a.k.a. N-DOUBLE)! After graduating, she was offered a position to work in Philadelphia and have been here ever since. Philadelphia has become a new home for her, and AAAO Philly has become a large extended family that allows her to keep in contact with fellow alumni and the university.

VICE PRESIDENT

Janay (c/o 2009- BBH) is a Philadelphia native who currently works as a Behavioral Health Program Management Analyst for the City of Philadelphia. While at Penn State, Janay was involved with several student organizations, serving as President of the Caribbean Student Association, Vice-President of Black Caucus, and a member of the Epsilon Gamma chapter of Delta Sigma Theta Sorority, Inc. She acquired a Masters in Public Health, with a concentration in Epidemiology, from Drexel University. Janay is also the Co-Director of the New Leaders Council Philadelphia chapter. ​

Chris is an alumnus of The Pennsylvania State University, with a BS in Hospitality Management. Being born and raised in Philadelphia, in the Hunting Park community of North Philadelphia, Chris has always sustained a strong passion to support school aged children and their families through any platform presented. Through his involvement as the Community Outreach Director at the Lighthouse Missionary Baptist Church, Board Member for a Philadelphia based non-profit dance Company – En L Air Dance Company, Co-founder of the Studio Eight Preforming Arts School and yearly involvement with the City Year MLK day of service, he has shown a strong dedication for giving back to our community, by focusing on the future – which is the youth.

Chris has also used his business background to consult several local companies with their business operations and management. Some of the things Chris enjoys doing outside his work life are; running, playing tennis with his Wife, bike riding with his kids and kick boxing. In addition, Chris is a member of several different national organizations where he serves as a general member or on the board of directors. A quote that Chris lives his life by is “knowledge gained doesn’t mean anything unless it is shared with the next generation “.
